Securaplane Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Meggitt PLC, and Gulfstream have entered into multiple long-term agreements to supply products across G450, G550 and G650 aircraft, including product support for Securaplane cameras, security systems, emergency and mainship batteries and battery chargers.
Securaplane has been manufacturing camera, security and power products for aviation for over 25 years. Securaplane’s current security system, PreFlite, provides worldwide coverage using the international GSM mobile network, providing real-time alerts, interrogation and monitoring from any telephone for unattended aircraft. Securaplane has over 1,000 security systems installed, a base that continues to grow.
Securaplane has a long history designing and manufacturing efficient and reliable power conversion and energy storage products for aviation. Tens of thousands of Securaplane battery chargers, inverters, converters and emergency batteries and main ship batteries are in service in business jets and air transport aircraft.
