LAUNCHES NEW MICROZOOM™ SERIES
OF AIRBORNE CAMERAS
Securaplane Technologies Inc. announces the launch of a new airborne camera line – the CMZ Microzoom Series. Securaplane now offers very small, lightweight high performance zoom cameras for mounting on the vertical fin and fuselage (CMZ-05/06) as well as the glare shield (CMZ-03).
The performance of the Microzoom series is exceptional – 40x zoom capability with full auto-iris functionality and digital signal processing for outstanding imaging performance in all lighting. At less than .5 lbs. and only 3.8” long by 1.9” inches high the CMZ-03 glareshield zoom camera is the smallest and lightest available. The CMZ-05 and CMZ-06 are light (<.75 lbs.), low profile aerodynamic zoom units designed for external fuselage or vertical fin installation. These are not only small and compact, but the first airborne zoom camera designed for external applications.
The Microzoom series is slated for 2Q04 production release upon completion of DO-160D qualification testing. Fully operational prototypes of the CMZ Microzoom will be on display at NBAA, Booth 2661. About Securaplane
