Securaplane has received STC approval for its
Battery and Battery Charger System
on Challenger 600 and 601 series aircraft.

On April 24, 2003, STC was issued for Securaplane's BC-1306 Battery Charger and Hawker Energy 40 Amp-hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery system for installation on all Challenger 600 and 601 series aircraft.
Note: Hawker Energy products are not affiliated with Raytheon Aircraft Company's line of Hawker aircraft.
Hawker Energy main ship batteries offer significant performance enhancements compared to other sealed lead acid and Ni-Cad batteries. Features include:

Included in the STC is Securaplane's patented "inflection point" battery charger: the BC-1306.
The ability to detect the "inflection point" ensures that the battery receives the optimum amount of charge for all temperature conditions combined with various battery states of charge.

Other benefits of Securaplane's battery charger include significantly reduced battery maintenance, reduced weight, as well as significant safety enhancements. Securaplane is the world's first battery charger manufacturer to utilize an alpha-numeric display to display faults, status and maintenance items for both battery and charger.
