Securaplane Completes Qualification Testing For Airborne Video Camera System

TUCSON, AZ - 30 SEPTEMEBER 2000 - Securaplane Technologies announced the successful completion of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and environmental compliance testing of their airborne video camera system product line. Securaplane's video components comply with the latest revision of avionics testing standard RTCA DO-160D; the only airborne video camera supplier to do so. This latest standard imposes more severe requirements especially in the area of electromagnetic emissions.

In addition to the DO-160D compliance, Securaplane has also completed bird-strike substantiation for their externally mounted video cameras for Global Express and other aircraft.

The successful completion of this testing ensures that Securaplane airborne video camera components meet the exacting standards of the world's commercial and general aviation aircraft manufacturers and their certifying authorities. Securaplane cameras are installed and certified on Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault and Gulfstream aircraft.
