Securaplane Technologies has been issued 
a U.S. Patent for "inflection point detection", 
an accurate battery charging method used
on its BC-1300 Series Main Ship Battery Chargers 

On July 14, 1998,  Securaplane was issued a U.S. Patent 
(Number 5,780,994) for accurate detection of "inflection point", a feat 
that has eluded battery experts for years and is critical in reducing 
over-charge and boiling of electrolyte.

The ability to detect the "inflection point" ensures that the battery 
receives the optimum amount of charge for all temperature conditions 
combined with various battery states of charge.

Other benefits of Securaplane's battery charger line include 
significantly reduced battery maintenance, reduced weight, as well as 
significant safety enhancements.  Securaplane is the world's first 
battery charger manufacturer to utilize an alpha-numeric display to 
display faults, status and maintenance items for both battery and 
charger.

its Challenger* 604 and Canadair Regional Jet* production aircraft,
