Securaplane received PMA on its 
Main Ship Battery Charger for installation on 
Challenger 604 and RJ aircraft


On June 15, 1998,  Securaplane received FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval 
(PMA) on its BC-1301 Main Ship Battery Charger for installation on 
Canadair Challenger* 604 and Regional Jet* aircraft.  

Benefits of Securaplane's battery charger include enhanced battery life, 
significantly reduced battery maintenance, reduced weight (only 4.9 
lbs.) as well as significant safety enhancements.  Securaplane is the 
world's first battery charger manufacturer to utilize an alpha-numeric 
display to display faults, status and maintenance items for both battery 
and charger.

Securaplane supplies its BC-1301 battery charger to Bombardier for its 
Challenger* 604 and Canadair Regional Jet* production aircraft.

systems, aircraft electronic security systems, and wireless aircraft
