Securaplane awarded Bombardier Aerospace 
contract for its Main Ship 
Battery Charger on the CRJ-700


Benefits of Securaplane's battery charger include enhanced battery life, 
significantly reduced battery maintenance, reduced weight (only 5.5 
lbs.) as well as significant safety enhancements.  Securaplane is the 
world's first battery charger manufacturer to utilize an alpha-numeric 
display to display faults, status and maintenance items for both battery 
and charger.

On June 1, 1998,  Securaplane and Bombardier Aerospace finalized a 
contract for Securaplane's BC-1301 Main Ship Battery Charger for the 
Canadair Regional Jet* Series 700 business jet program.  Securaplane is 
currently supplying the battery charger to Bombardier for installation 
on its Challenger* 604 and Canadair Regional Jet* Series 200 aircraft.

Securaplane is a designer and manufacturer of emergency battery systems, 
aircraft electronic security systems, and wireless aircraft smoke
