Securaplane has been awarded the
emergency battery program by 
Embraer for the AL-X program



Securaplane was informed that it had won a program by Embraer for a 
reliable, low maintenance 3/8 ATR stand-by battery system for use on its 
AL-X aircraft. This program will cover 100 aircraft initially up to a 
possible 400 aircraft.
 
The XL-2410 emergency battery features Sealed Lead Acid batteries, 
precision charger, battery level testing, heaters, BITE confirmation, 
and battery cutoff.  Bite circuits monitor the battery, charger, heater, 
and the temperature. These unique features provide increased battery 
energy and life as well as a degree of "on aircraft" battery testing 
that is revolutionary.
