Securaplane has received a PMA for a main ship battery charger system 
for DC-10 and MD-11 aircraft planned to be installed 


On February 21, 1997, Securaplane received the Parts Manufacturer 
Approval (PMA)  for the installation of both the BC-1300 main ship 
battery charger and SAFT Ultra Low Maintenance (ULM) batteries. 

The Securaplane BC-1300 charger incorporates advanced technology to 
provide increased reliability, efficiency, reduced size and weight as 
well as significant diagnostics to the DC-9 retrofit program at 
Northwest Airlines.  Securaplane is a SAFT distributor and provider for 
the Northwest Airlines SAFT ULM batteries.

Securaplane is a designer and manufacturer of emergency power, 
electrical power and Aircraft Electronic Security Systems.  Securaplane
