Securaplane has been awarded the
emergency battery contract by Raytheon Aircraft 
for its new Premier 1 business jet



On July 19, 1996,  Securaplane was informed that it had won a program by 
Raytheon Aircraft for a reliable, low maintenance 1/4 ATR stand-by 
battery system for use on its new Premier 1 business jet. 
 
The XL500/5 emergency battery features Sealed Lead Acid batteries, a 
built-in precision charger, microprocessor driven battery level testing 
with BITE confirmation and battery cutoff.  These unique features 
provide increased battery energy and life as well as a degree of "on 
aircraft" battery testing that is revolutionary.
