Meggitt Aerospace Asia Pacific now Securaplane distributor

Securaplane, a Meggitt company, has chosen Meggitt Aerospace Asia Pacific (MAAP), Singapore, as its Pacific Rim distributor. This will help Securaplane support its customers in the Asia Pacific region with local MRO, AOG and spares support, rotable exchange and repair services from a CAAC, EASA, and FAA-certified facility.

 “With the rapid growth of aviation in the Pacific Rim, we needed specialized support and additional customer service for a market that’s very important to us,” says Steffen Spell, Securaplane VP of Sales and Marketing, “MAAP will fill that role.”

MAAP supports airlines, the aftermarket organizations of the major aircraft constructors and engine overhaul facilities and distributors across the whole Asia Pacific—India, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand. MAAP will offer Securaplane’s full line of products for both commercial and business aviation.
