Securaplane is now Hawker's Master Distributor for aviation batteries in the USA. Hawker selected Securaplane due to our superior technical understanding of batteries (all types: SLA, Ni-Cad, low maintenance Ni-Cad and others used for main ship and emergency battery applications) and charging of those batteries in the aircraft environment.

Hawker has been a leading name in aircraft batteries for over 40 years. The Hawker Sealed Lead Acid aircraft battery range has been designed for high power and long life to meet a wide variety of military and civil applications.

Securaplane's experience with Hawker Sealed Lead Acid batteries dates back to the early 1980s. Securaplane selected Hawker batteries for our advanced Aviation Emergency Battery systems because of the Hawker batteries' excellent reliability and maintenance-free performance.

Hawker sealed aircraft batteries have been designed for high power and long life, thereby meeting a wide variety of civil and military requirements. Hawker’s unique pure lead grids and recombination technology ensure long shelf life and fast recharge capabilities.

All of Hawker’s aviation battery products are classified as non-hazardous and unrestricted for land, sea, or air transportation when correctly packed. These batteries needs no regular maintenance, have no memory effect, and don’t suffer from fading. Depending on operation and use, the batteries can be up to a 5-year fit-and-forget.
