The VCU-05 Video Control Unit provide switching, power and control interface between aircraft systems and the camera system and/or security system. The VCU-05 incorporates a video switcher for direct selection of one of eight NTSC video sources and also passes through all eight input to the aircraft video distribution system. In addition, the VCU-05 provides the control signals for the CMZ series zoom cameras and the security system recorder. The VCU-05 also accepts keyline or RS-485 data bus control signals from the aircraft system for operational control.
